    HTT - LTD (x2 - x3 - x4 - x5) BENCHES

    I was trying to keep my HT Higher than 1000 MHZ...
    Reached a 1300 MHZ HT and that was great ...
    But what about performance ????
    WIN OR LOSE at those high HT ????

    I set the FSB at 250 and multi X 8 = 2000 MHZ CPU like default 3200+ speed...
    Left my GFX 5900 card on 400 GPU - 900 MEM.....

    And here is what i get......


    Strange .....
    AT X2 LTD = 2X250 = 500 HT i get the BEST 3D Scores but at X5 LTD = 2X250 HT i get the BEST PI Scores....

    I dont know what to say....
    If its possible make some of your BENCHES and post it right here to make a conclusion

    nice..now compare at different fsb/multi combinations

    add a couple 120mm fans overhead to drop temps by 10+ celsiusD.S.C-12(2)-disclaimer : whatever u do with your hardware/software is your

    so the Htt seems to be a bit of a flop. the ones in the middle seem usless.

    Actually, the HTT multiplier makes a difference only on multi-proccessor setups (I guess...).
    Now that I belong in the A64-users Club I will perform some tests and post them.

    What I assume from your results, is that it is better to keep the HTT multiplier @ 2x instead of 4x. The differences on memory benchmarks are nominal. Except the SuperPi but 1sec isn't that much. It is in the range of Statistical mistake. Gaming performance is more important for most users and 2x seems to be the optimal setting.

    Unfortunately, my mobo is based on the nForce3-150 which means that the HTT multiplier is 3x. So, I will test it using multis 1x 2x & 3x

    was trying to find my max 1:1 free of errors using MEMTEST 1.5 as mem diagnostic tool....

    I was able to hit the amazing 262 FSB using ONLY 2.62 Vddr and I was really socked….
    I the most of my OC I used 2.8 Vddr as default option because I thought this was the only way to get my system stable….

    I was wrong… my ADATA VITESTA DDR500 using Hynix –D5 chips just love low vddr …

    I conclude that CPU mem controller is heating or don’t like more that 263 MHZ because no matter what I do this was the max acceptable OC for 1:1 FSB/MEM….

    Just check my steps at the XLS table and make your judgment……

    MEMTEST = 10 loops of 5th test
    3D = AQUAMARK03 Bench
    SPI = Super PI 2MB

    It took me a lot of time to have long Tests....

    run some games to gauche the performance at different LTD multipliers, SuperPi and 3DMark are all fine and dandy, but you don't actually "play" them, do you know?
