I bought a 451p enermax ps from directron.com about a month ago. It's been great, flat line output, and quiet. There's been a lot of discussion about the 5vsb on this ps being only 1.8A. However, every picture i've seen of this ps has silver colored fan grills. Mine has gold colored ones which leads me to believe that maybe its a different model. It does have the sticker on the side saying 451p, but I was just curious if this could be a mistake from enermax. Also, is there any way to test the amps on the 5vsb?

Plain vs Whistler....
Just so you know, there's a 'Whistler' version of the PSU you and I have. Mine also has the clear fan. As far as other voltage or amp stuffs, I don't know too much about it. Perhaps someone else can spank us on the correct butt cheeks?

Correct, I mean 'Whisper.' I think the Whisper has a three-wired connector for fan speed detection and control while the regular one has only the two-wire connector. Also, I think the Whisper has different fan color.

Look at the side of your power supply. It will give all of its voltage ratings. My new enermax EG465P-VE is the one with a +5VSB of 2.2A. It is what finally solved the bootup problems with my MSI K7 Master. My 1ghz@1266mhz boots and runs perfect every time!!!
...now if i only had an AXIA chip. hmm...
