A Far Cry for Help!!!

I don't think my system is playing Far Cry as well as it should. I experience frequent lock-ups while playing. The screen temporarily freezes for a few seconds and my framerates are terrible. I can barely run the game on high and medium suffers the lock-ups as well. What could be causing my troubles??? I need help!!! What diagnostics could I use to solve my problem???

I assume U installed the 1.1 patch? Try setting DirectX in Nvidia control panel to Application Preference.

I had the same probs with my rig I installed 1.2Patch "if you need it PM me" and now I average 45FPS on ULTRA HIGH and MediumXAA and 2XAF

Just so he knows, the 1.2 patch was withdrawn due to bugs... but hey, it's worth a try.
