I have Radeon VIVO version and I use W98SE.
I have installed 4.13.7075 drivers and after installation
"the garbage" remain in root of C drive:
    C:\ATI
    -GART
    -ATIGART.DAT
    -ATIGART.EXE
    -INSTALL
    -ATIVBTXX.SYS
    -ATIVMDXX.SYS
    -ATIVPDXX.SYS
    -ATIVRAXX.SYS
    -ATIVRVXX.SYS
    -ATIVTTXX.SYS
    -ATIVTUXX.SYS

I'm not sure whether I can delete that folder (C:\ATI).
No registry entry or INI files point to that directory.
Does somebody know it for sure, I can delete them?
I have asked ATI support and I received most stupid answer any heard!

(I'm sorry for my English ;-)

I just left the directory on my hard drive. However, the release notes available through http://support.ati.com/drivers/winme...n_4137075.html say you can delete the 'support' directory. Unfortunately, they don't address the 'GART' directory.

    What was ATI's dumb answer?

    Dumb answer

    They told me:
If you have installed MB drivers you can delete GART folder.
If you delete INSTALL folder and your system become unstable you need that drivers.

They don't know it for sure? They wrote that drivers!!!
    That's "TECHNICAL SUPPORT"!
