DFI LAN PARTY NF2 Rev. B wont go over 202fsb!

Right ive recently been trying to get a higher overclock with the rig in my signature. But the problem is that it wont get into windows above 202mhz on the FSB! no matter what i have the multiplier is set to it just wont go! Ive tried raising the RAM voltage ive tried raisng the CPU voltage but still no joy... could raising the chipset voltage fix this problem? Thanks for any advice.

Yes raising the chipset voltage COULD fix the problem. Let's have your complete bios settings and mem timings. Thanks! Btw, some people are experiencing some problems with the OCZ sticks. I don't know the details though.

Try 1.7 or 1.8 Vchipset. Also try mem timings 11-3-3-2.5 or 11-2-2-2.0 if you haven't already.
I had problems with OCZ PC3700 but the 3200 should be alright.

drax - you might want check out Staphy's Sandra MEM benches. That's with TwinMos PC2100. In this case size doesn't count.

Re: DFI LAN PARTY NF2 Rev. B wont go over 202fsb!

The numbers posted on RAM such as "3200", "2700", and "3500" are only bandwidth ratings. They don't have that much bearing on how fast a certain stick of RAM can actually go. I'm using PC2700 sticks currently running at 240FSB.

Razorfish, you might want to try and raise the VDD and VAGP and then fiddle with the memory timings. Try something like:

    VCORE: 1.85
    VDIMM: 3.0
    VDD: 1.7-1.8
    VAGP: 1.7

    11-3-3-2-2.5-14-17 as your memtimings.

Welcome to our humble forum, RF.
Yes, my Twinmos PC2100 should only produce 2.1 GB/sec at around 133 FSB.
So, as Vihsadas points out, ratings can be a bit misleading
Make sure your DDR ratio is set to 1:1 and not auto.
And let us know which BIOS you're running at what settings.
