I just could'nt wait to put my new Novell supplied Suse 9.1 DVD in something so since I didn't have a DVD in my desktop I installed it in my Dell Inspiron 8200. All went pretty well. After reading a few posts I decided to let the install program do it's thing. It went without a hitch except it said it could not make a separate boot partition but that did not seem to inhibit the install. All went without a hitch except I can't change my screen size from 640X480, when I do the screen wigs out and is unreadable. I am suspecting this is because I have an ATI Radeon card installed and don't have the right drivers in Suse. Is this a correctable situation for a noob or am I stuck until I learn quite a bit more? Thanks in advance.
