    Removing Chipset fan

    Hi,

I had alot of bother with my ZNF3-250 shorting out against the case, is it possible to remove the chipset cooler without needing round the back?

I've never removed one of these, any tips?

I was playing around with an fried board. To take the heatsink off I had to squeeze on the pegs that go through the mobo (from the back of the mobo) and then pull/twist from the top.

Not easily. If you are really careful, you can reach under the chipset cooler nad cut off the pins then you will have to drill out the plastic plugs, but it's just not worth it. Removing the board is about all I can offer ya.
