Unless you incorporate which would be silly not to do if you have that kind of income coming in. You're paying an accountant anyways, so there's no reason not to. In that way, you can give yourself a simple salary and take money out of your business via dividends. These are taxed at a lower rate. It still doesn't change the fact that this country simply can't afford to lower taxes at a time when we are about to have the baby boomers put a massive strain on programs like social security and medicare.

Who do you really believe this? Like JungleMan said, how responsible is sKerry when he is trying to spend even more then Bush with everything going on? Like a Socialists Healthcare, even more money paid out for Social Security, higher budget for Spending on Stem Cell research to make everyone in a wheel chair walk again, even more spending for environmental, plus finishing our spending/helping in Iraq and the lists goes on and on... It's unbelievable you think sKerry has Fiscal Responsibility when he says he is going to fix everything plus add so much more to the plate. I guess sKerry can cut out our military/defense spending like he has been trying to do and we can hope that Canada will secure our nation along with theres.

The sarcasm is obvious, so I'll comment.

First of all...you have to realize that Bush has had no other choice. 9/11 was a HUGE disaster, and I don't think ANYONE expected anything like it during the election of 2000. Bush has not been perfect but has done a decent job keeping spending on tab. And even if he hasn't, his fiscal responsibility sounds a heck of a lot better than John Kerry's. John is a Massachusetts liberal, he wouldn't know fiscal responsibility if it bit him in the butt.

John has very nice sounding plans, I will give him that, and they'd probably be better than Bush's if only they were possible, and they had the money to pay for them! His plans just plain old don't work, and even if they did, we have no money to pay for them.

Kerry constantly cites his "pay as you go" policy, but as he goes, I think he'll be hard-pressed to find things to pay with. (But hopefully we'll never see that become a reality, and Bush will get 4 more years)

Re: I think I'll vote for KERRY!!!

Bush increased spending long before 9/11 ever happened. He did so in his first budget. Also, when you exclude all of the costs of 9/11 and Iraq, he still has increased spending....

NAME ONE SPENDING BILL THAT HE VETOED!!!!

He never did. Kerry, no matter if he wanted to build hospitals of gold will have to deal with the Replublican House and Senate so your sKerred comments really don't hold water. As I've said before, this political system was setup to give balance. Kerry in the White House would return this balance and we would get better legislation.

"We can afford cuts and they have in the past shown to help out the economy. "

This is called supply side economics and the last time I checked Reagan used it and it was a big failure. George Bush, Sr., was completely against these policies and he had to suffer through the post-Reagan years. The tax cuts have a very minor impact on the economy of the nation as a whole. It is much much too big a system for that to have a real impact. GWB increased spending and lowered taxes which is passing the buck off to a future politician to deal with the mess that he created.

Think of it in terms of your own personal finances. Say you were already in debt and were just starting to get ahead. What would be the net result if you lowered your weekly hours of work by 20% and went out and bought a big screen tv, a new car, etc. You might feel really good, but your lot economically certainly hasn't gotten any better. It's pure common sense. I had the highest hopes for Bush when he came into office. All he has done is driven up the deficit, pandered to special interest groups and bungled the search for the people responsible for the trrrrst attacks.
