    Re: "Blue State Blues"

If you have 10 people in a country and 5 live in one county and voted yes then you have the other 5 each in their own county that voted no map ends up looking like that and therefore the people who voted no since they lived in a more rual area win since they have more land This argument makes no sense at all and you might as well drop it.

Bad math and logic, the map is by counties. This analogy fits better:

If 10 people all live in the same county and 6 of them vote Bush. They have the majority vote and the county is red.

That being said the map is entirely accurate

You can drive across the entire country, east to west or north to south, ocean to ocean or border to border... through Bush counties, but the longest drive through Kerry counties is along part of the Northern California coast... which, by the way, is one of the most gorgeous drives you can make. Take a convertible.

Countys don't have the same population and ones that went to Kerry are in general much higher in population and therefore = like 5+ Bush counties. The map is pretty high population density countrys voted Kerry lose density went to Bush its that simple.

It's also pretty much irrelevent. Blue counties also had a huge number of Bush votes that all get thrown out when the majority voted Kerry.

Never implied that Blue counties went all Kerry or for that matter Red countys went all Bush. Now in the blue counties Kerry wins by like 60%(varies) and when you have such as high population that ends up covering most of the smaller population countys that went 60% Bush(varies)
