    Athlon 64 3700 temps

What should be the resting temp and temp under load of the athlon 64 3700? According to Easytune 4 which came with my mobo the resting temp is 27 Degrees Celcius but under load it sometimes hits 60, is this normal? CPU fan is spinning at 3100 rpm under no load.

I think you should spin the heatsink at 4000rpm or more rather than lower speed - I used Tt Venus 12 with manual tuning (front side) and stayed at 4115rpm with 39oC (Full load) sound still at 32dba - when play games it usual at 42-44oC most of time that pretty good -- Im still using 3700+ at 2.48Ghz...

60oC is too high - usual between 35-47oC that normal temp for 3700+ but over 50oC that I feel is slighty too high.

If the 60's are the MAX you are getting forsure, then I would leave it but if it goes any higher then get a new HS. The MAX temp. before you fry your CPU is 70 celsius. I would probably throw another case fan or 2 in it for now.
