Adding
tags

A forum I go to (livingwithstyle) has these tags, and I think they're the coolest ever..I mean, there are tons of things you could use them for..I think they'd be a great addition to the board. Plus, if we could put them in our signatures, it could let us put bigger lists of stuff

Pardon the ignorance, but what does a
tag do?

Okay, here's a screenshot from LWS:

I just created this really fast in a preview. When you hit hide, it hides the text "GAHH" (you can put whatever inbetween the spoiler tags...images, code, text, whatever) and when you hit "Show" (thats what hide says before you click show) it shows "GAHH"

You can also name the spoiler...IE:
GAHHH
would be the above image. I think it'd be cool to have on the forums, just in case the need occurs

Pretty cool, but I'm not feelin' it. Not extremely useful. Also, it makes the site look less professional IMO (one reason avatars are disabled is because of the site's prefessional look.)

    Just my 2¢

No, I've been to forums with the Spoiler tag. It's a good thing, at least for forums like Gaming.
The spoiler tags I'm familiar with black out the text in blocks, untill you mouse over it.

its a possibility but not the one referenced in this thread. there was some kind of security vulnerability or something i read about...dont remember now. its kind of on the back burner right now tho...sorry! just got some other things going on that demand more immediate attention.
    hmm...
