AMd64 3000+ 90nm, which board would be best??

Iím putting together a new system and Iím going for the A64 3000+ 90nm WINCHESTER, and plan on overclocking it as far as I can, Iíve two motherboards in mind , the Abit AV8-3RD Eye s939 KT800pro, and the MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum-54G S939 nForece3 250 Ultra. Which board would give me the best overclocking results ?? And which chipset is better. Also I have a Nvidia 5900nu and am looking at getting the Gainward GeForce 6800 128mb DDR2 2.8ns AGP, would this along with the cpu and motherboard give me a good performance boost in games from my current system ?? I know the nForce 4 is due out but Iíd have to wait till the new year to get it and Iíve waited long enough as it is.So what do you guys think??

    Current System:
    AMD 2500+ Barton (11*200) 3200+
    Gigabyte 7NNXP nForce 2ultra
    Leadtek Nvidia 5900nu (450*800)
    1GIG of 3200 ram
    160 Western Digital HD
    Windows XP home

I'd go with the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum as it is still the best nForce3 250Gb Socket939 board...

Are you getting a wireless with that? you have a -54G on the end that's not part of the motherboard model number.

nForce4 boards won't be out till late december, but if you a rig now, I'd get the nForce3 250Gb.

i faced a similar decision a few weeks ago, and i chose the asus a8v deluxe with a 3200 a64 winchester. im very happy with my decision. board oces very well. the only complaint ive got is the mem voltage is capped at 2.8. but still reguardless ive noticed ive been able to get my mem alot higher than i ever have before reguardless of the voltage.

    my daily oc is

    230x10 1.45volt

    1000mhz ht

timings left on auto for ram. except i personally set it to 1t and im getting excellent memory bandwidth.almost 6k in sandra.

for reference ive gotten the board to 300 "fsb" but memory stability went out the window. my ram just can't take it.

Well it turns out that the Abit AV8 cant take a 90nm Winchester without a bios upgrade, and the board wont boot to allow you to flash it with a 90nm in place, they told me to e-mail Abit and they'd send me out a bios chip,( more waiting around) so I said sod it I'm fed up waiting and Ordered the Abit AV8 3rd-eye, A64 3500+ 130nm and a Gainward Gforce 6800 @(400 * 800) which I think is overclocked higher than a normal plain 6800. Anyway I cant wait to get them and get set up, should be here Fri.
    Thanks All
