3.3v vddr Possible with ANY s939 motherboard?

I have looked around and I can't seem to find any board with that capability. Only reason I need something like this is I have got some CH-5 sticks lying around and I really want to push them to their fullest. Maybe there is a way to voltmod the Neo2 or something? Any input is appreciated.

I want to purchase something soon, I found the 3500+ winchester for $325 CAD!!! Retail box too! (I hope... had code: ADA3500BIBOX).

    Isn't ADA3500AWBOX the Newcastle one?

Just add an OCZ DDR Voltage booster they are cool and work fine on the MSI k8n neo2

i did a 3.3v voltmod to the back of my k8ns-ultra.........it now recieves 3.3v 24/7........1 wire from the 3.3v line of the 20 pinn connector on the back of the mobo straight to the memory dimms!

Really? Do you know how the Voltage booster works? Any info would be appreciated.

That sounds crazy. I guess its possible... I'll leave this as a last resort

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am quite sure that increasing the voltage going to the memory would have little effect on the processer?

I am going to have look more into this OCZ Voltage booster...

Man this must be my lucky day. Not only did I find that processor for cheap, but I found the OCZ DDR Voltage Booster for $53 CAD!

Well I think I am going to by the xp-90 and a tornade to go along with this setup. Thanks for the help folks

    Great place to be.

According to AMD the vdimm does go to the CPU as well and they higly recommend against going over 2.9 vdimm.

I'm not really sure if it will hurt anything or not, but I've heard enough stories of A64s dieing to not want to use 3v+ vdimm in the long term.

Perhaps you can point out where amd accords this?

Because according to what I know, extra VDDR was only a problem with the shuttle s939 motherboard (A50n or something).

K8N ehh, Ok. I wonder If It would work on or If It's even needed on the K8T Neo2-F?(It's what I happen to have, But No 3500 90nm cpu or ram[OCZ PC3200 r3 512Mb] yet.)
