bpl 3.19 appears to be a bit more stable then bpl 3.02. some 3d performance loss going from 3.02 to 3.19 (from what i have heard).

0.1 is the best, arrived with him to 286Mhz FSB stable, with 0.2 / 0.3 I do not cross 270Mhz FSB!

    by -=Merlin=- , why you do not did cpc-off to **D27 TaiPan 0.1 [EB][ED] Bpl 3.19 08.12.04**?

argh, well im having problems with the 3.19, i tried my usual 10.5x220 which i successfully pulled off with d26xt, no i constantly crash in CS. Back to d26 for me though i do hate that logo screen and the fact you can't turn it off, but i cant complain, if it wasnt for tictac i wouldnt be able to push at these speeds.

    Specs
Abit NF7-S v.2 (chipset and memory voltmodded)
    Athlon XP mobile 2500+ 1.85v (10.5x220)
    Mushkin lvl 1 pc3500 1gb (2x512) 3.3v
    Visiontek x800pro (520/580)
    Western Digital 250GB SATA HD

Just wanted to share my experience; when oc'ing I noticed that my chipset required higher voltage with higher FSB. Then it turns around and starts to require less volt. This happens around 210Mhz. I run my CH-5, 2x512 at 222 with 2.7V(haven't volt mod yet) and the chipset is happy at 1.6V. No prime 95 errors, no memtest86 errors, no 3D errors.

Just received the Superflower 530W psu. I'm hoping to swap the psu and voltmod the CH-5's to search for 240Mhz. Soon.

    Hello Pershoot,
I finally fell back to the D26 Manta Rays bios by Tictac. Over all for me it is giving very good stability and speed. I have the newer Crucial Ballistix ram.

    Peace

hi merlin. tried eb-ed and ed, 2T. eb-ed was looser then ed, which gave a slight edge in stability. eb-ed remained stable for the short term, but became unstable after some time (slow windows crash symptom (mouse still movable though, but windows & explorer freezing), intermittent IE (browser) dropouts (which voltage usually cures, but in this case made it worst), random resets (where it shouldnt be resetting), etc.

guess my system and or driver set didnt mesh well.

alpha timings which appeared to work well are: 1-3-3-3-3-3-5. 2.5TCL appeared to work a bit better then 2.0TCL.

eb-ed throughput was a bit greater then ed. i noticed virtually no loss in bandwith going below 10x.

    That would be nice.
I changed my bios because I did not like, not seeing my bios post screen.
Is this the same version that is posted on this page?

Yes, it is the same as the bios on the bottom of the page. I only have the CPC ON which I believe is the "1T" version as it is labeled there. I too love that bios and it has been the best performer for me. I just couldn't stand the logo on bootup.

Drop me an PM with your e-mail and I will send it out.
