I just got off the phone with Brandons father, Duane Henning. I explained the situation and he took my name and number and said he would get back to me.

Spoke with Duane again.
His father was kinda hard to understand ( accent ) but im pretty sure he said he would be sending me my money back and that I should have it in a couple of days. I gave him my address and all and told him that I or mystra will be contacting him again to get things settled with her.

I just called, but got the answering machine. I left a message anyway and I will try again later tonight. Gosh, I so dislike making cold calls

From the looks of this guy's picture posted here, I think the closest he ever comes to 'gangsta' mode is devouring a rather large bowl of pasta while watching the Sopranos

Also, I must say: I think everyone involved responded in a quick and timely fashion -- considering the circumstances. As the saying goes "hind sight is always 20/20", so you really cannot judge the situation looking back as "should have done this & should have done that". Plus, IMHO labeling someone a troll is VERY serious. One should not jump the gun on dubbing someone a troll unless your 100% sure.

Plus, the other thing is that Pay Pal is pretty much useless to help out in so many of these cases (and because of all their fees for every little thing, you'll loose some money out of your claim -- not to mention all the aggravation). And because of Pay Pal's attitude in these situations (i.e. 'we have our money, so we don't care'), it seems as though they are almost encouraging this kind of behavior. As I see so many trolls use Pay Pal to carry out their petty scams.

Yeah, I feel very sorry for his father. I just got off the phone again with his father and he confirmed that check will be sent out to the both of us this week. We should have our money back by next week. Hopefully Brandons father is true to his word.

Sorry pops...I've been busy with school and my sister's medical stuff...I didn't mean to leave this unfinished

I haven't received anything yet, and I have the unfortunate fortune (uh, that doesn't make any sence ) of not being able to get in touch...answering machine only. If Mr. Henning mailed me a check it will take a while for me to receive it (at least a week), one of the problems of living waay up north (Alaska) besides the cold cold winters. Although, our winter has been mild compared to other states

I will let everyone know how this plays out...

Within your busy schedule see if you can contact this jerks Father
and inquire if a check was sent. (realizing we all have a life other than
this forum)

Not to create pressure but it sometimes helps to keep peeps on their
toes so to speak. That and I feel that 1 on 1 contact between yourself
and Mr. Henning would be beneficial.

Look at it this way..... things are so expensive in AK that $160 bones
doesn't go very far.
