    well I make $18.38 per hour as a Journeyman Deisel Mechanic. This is a very good wage for my particular area. Our cost of living here is little lower than most places

    most of the people in my field in my particular in my area only make $10-15 per hour.

    This thread reminds me of the guys I buy parts from at Best Buy, Circuit City and Compusa. If you have a problem, or need help, or whatever, someone may eventually grudgingly do the bare minimum to help you, maybe. But buy the uber-1337 extra-special ass-kiss plan for only $99.99 and they'll leap to do your every wish!

    You used to get service like that all the time, it was expected.

    It's nothing but low grade extortion IMO.
