    Resolved [not implementing] sig idea

ive seen it in a few other forums, but why not disable people been able to see signatures who arent registered/signed in, to the forum?, it would save you lots of bandwidth, especially since there is usually more guests than members

Sigs are not stored on the server. The bandwidth comes from whever they are stored.

avatars are a completely different scenario because users can not host them from another host. regardless of the situation...the avatar ends up in the DB and ultimately is hosted from pcpers server...thus affecting bandwidth.

that would involve file editing (not just template editing...thats why they call it a "hack" )...which we dont like to do for a number of reasons...
