almost 600 views and nobody wants the ram![]()
Activate: AMD, please take a second and look over the new email rule posted here http://forums.pcper.com/trading.php#r1
MSN email accounts are no longer acceptable for trading purposes. You currently show a verizon ISP for your connection so you will need to update your profile to a suitable email address.
Thanks!
What??? That's ridiculous, If I set My email as verizon.net I can't receive any emails from this forum, I will still use My MSN Premium email address as that works here and at all other forums, Where as Verizon blocks forums that don't do or can't do Server Authentication and this forum last I heard is incapable of doing It and Verizon is not changing It's policy on spam. Ban Me from using My MSN.com email and I'll leave for Good. MSN Premium email is not Free and should not ever be grouped with the likes of Gmail, I pay money for this email which comes along with My Verizon DSL account.Originally Posted by Crazy Chuckster
Activate: AMD, Yes I'd like the Ram, But at $115.00 It may be a month or so as I'll be getting some cash from My brothers estate after He has died[Emphysema and Lung Cancer; It's the Emphysema that will get Him first though]. As right now I'm nearly broke.

The MSN issue is going to be put on hold until I can get it resolved one way or the other.Originally Posted by zoom314

Sorry no attitude meant, For Me to get another non-verizon.net paid email address would be impossible for Me As I pay just over $30.00 a month already, And cable would be about $13.00 or so more per month and being on SSI I have a fixed income no matter what, So It would be impossible and about the only other choice would be AOL and I don't have a 56k modem as I gave up dial-up long ago and imposing a 2nd ISP on one is not workable just to get an acceptable email address, My current address is staying as It is as I have no other choice as I'm not well off.Originally Posted by Crazy Chuckster
what?! im sorry, but im a little suprised by this actually. its unfair to me because i never use my verizon ISP e-mail, its too much of a hassle to check, and as one of the mods in this forum said, if you never check the address, then it is invalid :\ i never heard of any free MSN accounts other than hotmail.. which wont be @msn.com
im going to try to even set up my verizon e-mail because its not even set up.. didnt want to bother with any of verizon's software or anything when we set this broadband up

Well I'd say from personal experience don't bother setting this forum up to use Your verizon.net email as verizon.net requires Server Authentication of any received emails, I know and doing so will get You locked out waiting for a confirmation email that will never arrive, I know this as I went through this months ago, MSN is Your only legitimate choice here, period. I've not had one complaint on the 7 items I sold here while using My msn email address, So I'm not changing It.Originally Posted by Activate: AMD
Oh and yeah I'm interested in Your ram, But You may not be able to wait, So If You sell It, Then that is Ok, As I won't hold It against You.
