Question OC a 900tbird to 1.035ghz but my ram is 153MHZ??!

Since I'm a newbie overclocker I had a question about my RAM getting bumped up when I overclock my rig.
In my bios I can select 'user defined' which allows me to modify my core and such.
First setting has been left at x9.0 (when i tried 9.50 it didn't 'take')
Second which was set at 100mhz has now been changed to 115mhz
WHICH CAUSED my ram speed to default to 153MHZ (115mhz and 153mhz are the only options now)

IS THAT RAM SPEED OKAY THAT HIGH?? (pc133 is now running at 153mhz!)IS THAT SAFE? The other option is 115mhz and I'm tempted to use that since the rig started to freeze up on UT and DeusEx.

ASUS A7V rev 1.5 1005c
ASUS V7700 Pure 32meg DDR oc/205 345
Tbird 900mhz
2x128 SDRAM PC133

Thanks for any suggestions

Cool

Overclocking alone is very unlikely to damage RAM - the problem occurs if you raise the I/O voltag to keep it stable. If your system runs at that then leave it. If not, throttle back to 114/152.

Did you ever try unlocking your cpu? I think the reason why 9.5 didn't work is because your cpu is locked. Go to this link to see how to unlock your cpu. If you are worried about your fsb going to high, just raise the multiplier and lower the fsb a little bit.
