Angry SAGA continues with my 1.333ghz from BZBOYZ

Guess what, Im trying to sell my chip to a friend who does not have a 133fsb mobo, BTW its a 266chip, I set my bios at 10.5x100 and 11x100 and it posted no probs, then I tried 11.5x100 and guess what? NO F*CKING DICE!!! WTF I thought it was a 1.333ghz chip, if its a 266 does it mean you can only get it with the FSB at 133????

    Cool

In theory it should work, BUT there is a problem: the VIA KT133A chipset, which is known not to like high multipliers. First of all, what voltage are you running at? Second, try turning down all the BIOS settings to see if you get any improvement.

I haven't thought about going higher. I mean what's the point? A 1.2ghz kills a p4 1.7ghz so heheh intel can come out with their 2.0ghz my 1.33 will still beat it.

The punks are giving me the same line, and I got a defective piece of crap processor from them - it won't do 1.33Ghz - running at 1Ghz right now. So, I guess I'll get an exchange for another processor.

    Screwed by BZBOYZ, also

I came here from another forum... has AMD produced ANY locked 1.33 GHz? If not and I receive on (via my RMA from BZ), isn't that selling counterfeit merchandise?

I have already contacted my local bbb and they have already sent me a response.

everyone that has had problems go there and fill it out. Obviously when there are enough complaints we may be able to get them outta business. Also I am trying to get all my money back that I spent from them for my time and effort gas etc... These people are idiots and are trying to screw you so it's time for it to backfire on them. You need to submit a complaint people.
