Bad Trade At AnandTech?

Bought a digital camera from acejj26 at anandtech forums (cant post there since I am on AOL) and my sister took a few pictures with it and the next morning she woke up and turned it on and it gave a system error which in the manual it says to send to the manufacturer. I asked him for money back but he says no. Im sure I am out the money and its probably fair for him to keep the money buy I thought I would post it any ways. And what sucks even more was that this was a present to my dad for christmas from me and my sisters and our first digital camera for your family. :/

I can tell I would be demanding my money back. 1 day after you get it and its dead. I would refund for that. But since he is new to trading I dont know if he would. I he wouldn't refund I be talking to troll hunters and paypal.

Hardforums banned AOL users from their forums as they found a lot of trouble makers came from AOL, or some crazy logic like that.

Being totally impartial one could speculate that he knowingly sold you a faulty camera or your sister somehow damaged it as it was working and now isn't. Sorry, I'm not gonna assume that because you posted this that there wasn't some user error on your end. Hard to prove either way. There's 2 sides to every story and we haven't heard his..

So exactly what is your handle over on that forum? I saw one person interested in some books, the other for parts and one other that PM'd him. Nothing on the camera. Also the thread seems to have died about 11/21/2004 01:32 PM. That was almost 3 months ago. You haven't been able to post there in all that time?

Actually I havent been able to get on there because I swear that every one I know is on this free AOL crap and it sucks! My handle over there is TheSource. So what should I do? Anything?
