OH thank the Seti Gods.... There was no way in h*ll anybody could stop that crunching animal teef!!!! 6 weeks, thatís all he needed, just 6 little Oí weeks and all of us would have been frog stew. And whatís up with Harley? Out of the blue heís caching out to flip back to classic? He had me? He had the momentum every day loosing ground in good size chunks. Closing the gap to almost 60K and the way seti been acting up thatís nothing. Note to self: now that things are going good and have closed out the other projects, rest preferences back to something large to cover the next outage.

Teef... NNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!! You can't do that. You must not let the Old Mighty Large One pass you back. Besides it's not everyday we get a chance to see Ned squirm a bit. Hey Ned you still needing beta tester? If I can figure out this quantum theory thing called linux out I may have a box available for it? (Of cource he'll want to kick my arse after that crack I just made).

hehehe - I've been squirmin' for a while

I've got an optimized seti app that will run natively on Fedora core 3, and on FC2 with the addition of one library file. I'm not sure if they'll work on other distro's but you're welcome to try. What distro's are you running Dusty?

Ah, none.... that's the hole quantum theory thing I mentioned. The hardware is not stable yet having drive I/O issues. Should have that worked out in a few days, once done I plan to use FC3. I'll chat with you guys in your other thread.

Assuming no-one hits the machines hard tomorrow, I think it'll make near 200k by switch off. That should be good to keep 6th place for almost a week? Ah well.

Ned, I guestimate saturday lunchtime, hold on to your drawers.

Well, predicting boinc is obviously not my game... you're safe Ned.

There seem to be a good number of VERY low granted credits against the average looking claims from my machines, it makes a mess of the numbers.

You could still get me yet - some of those credits can take a time to come through!

    Was a cracking run though

I looked through the proxy logs and we sent 1550 results back yesterday. Even at an average of 20 per result, that's 30,000. The worst of days where a LOT of real work was done we still sent back 550 results, but the credits don't seem to reflect it.

I guess some is explained by the lag, people with a huge cache of work that takes them 10 days to turnaround or something. We'll see once they're all turned off.

Anyway, it's 173k now, so prepare to loose a place for a week or so Ned and Tek.

Another 11 hours before they get switched off. Actually, no 10 because we roll the clocks forward.

    It's been fun though!

    Good luck to everyone.
