Are the heatsink pins threaded on K8NS Ultra 939

I just recieved my K8NS Ultra socket 939 and i am wondering how hard is it going to be to mount my Swiftech 6000-64 on it. Has anyone else water cooled this board?

I put my rbx on my ultra, couldn't be easier. Once you release the plastic pins holding it on, the whole assemly that secures the stock heatsink comes off. I used the backing plate with the bolts that hold down my rbx.
The center of the white plastic pin I pushed up, then you can sqeeze together the remaining ends and the whole thing comes loose. Pooldoc

No I don't have pics, but it is very simple. First, look at the plastic white pins holding the plastic brackets on, from the back of mobo. The center of that pin will push thru center, I used a small screwdriver to do this. That will leave the out side of pins exposed, I took a small plier[you might do this with fingernails] and sqeezed the ends together, this will make pin small enough to push thru mounting holes in mother board. Once you push pins thru, the hole assembly come loose.
I used the plate on back with the bolts to my waterblock[it acts like a large washer]this is optional. Hope this helps.
If you have a waterblock it sounds like you've mounted one before, until I got a A64 board, I never saw a heatsink with all this plastic to hold it on, the object is to remove the plastic, leaving just the mobo with mounting holes, this is how you water block is secured to motherboard.
I looked on swiftechs website and they show your block mounted with the black pastic bracket still in place, and I was looking at the piece I removed, you can remove the center of the white plastic pin and it leaves a hole in the center of the pin, maybe they want you to thread the metal bolt int that hole in center of white plastic pin.
Did the block come with mounting hardware and instructions? My water block didn't quite fir inside the black plastic so I removed it. Pooldoc

I presently have my block mounted on a vnf3 754 board but that came with threaded holes. i might just take the backplate off of the vnf3 and use that. I also like your ideal of keeping the plastic one and just using it as a washer, then i only need to get longer bolts and nuts.

I removed the stock frame and backplate and used the backplate from a Tt Venus7, which had threaded holes, to mount my TDX.

If you can't get ahold of a threaded backplate, just use the stock backplate, but make sure to glue the nuts to the allthread, just to be on the safe side. I had a buddy who did this, no problems at all...
