Radeon 9700 PRO Bought in December 2002

Hello, I want to buy a new video card that is still AGP, I made the somewhat mistake of buying AGP in the early parts of this year, so i am stcuk with it until the end of this year, I just want to know how much i could get for this,a nd whether or not i should bother to overclock it to get the last bit of life out of it, or sell if and buy an 6600GT.

I got one for $100 shipped (which I thought was a bargain). Typically, $100 shipped seems to be fair value for a 9600XT.

BBA 9700 Pro seem to go for between $100 shipped and $125 shipped.

I am not a video card expert, but I read that the performance increase from 9700 Pro to 6600GT may be about 15%. Don't know what the differences would be for your mobo.

I would say bout $115-$120. I wouldnt get a 6600gt unless you can get one for $155 or less. I would move up to a 6800 which can be had for $250 about, or around $200 on the forums, I commonly see 6800s which have been unlocked to 16/6 go for $210 on the forums, so it is basically a poor mans 6800gt which is very nice

90$. I got a 9500 for 65 and it came with an ATI silencer 1. The 9700 is only about 35% faster.
