    IS thr a way to set a speed limit allowed on wireless router?

    I was wondering of thrs a way to set a speed limit on a certain connection through a wireless router? Like lets say if we wanna allow a computer only 200KBPS? is tht possible?

    Consumer grade wireless gear will not let you specifiy a wireless bandwidth cap to my knowledge. You could set your wireless router to only allow "b" protocol connections instead of G & Super-G. That would limit the bandwidth.

    Best solution that I can think of.

    There are 2 ways to run the software in question.

    1.) Run a single box as a gateway computer. ( Ie. 2 NICs in order to pipe all traffic through the one computer.)

    2.) Install a copy of the software for each computer. ( Would have to purchase a license per computer.)
