And thats only at 3.2v Id really like to see what this ram could do on higher volts.
That's damn good. I don't think too many are going to beat that. I'll settle for lowly runner up if possible.

i thought we were supposed to do it at the LOWEST timings though?

Well, that's kind of true. If you can get that same speed at lower timings, you'd beat his score.

Re: PC Perspective and Corsair Memory Overclocking Contest Volume I

ok...just to make sure...we should get the highest FSB possible first...then lower the timings as far as we can. So say a 280fsb at 2-2-2-5 wont beat a fsb of 290 at 2.5-4-4-10?

just seeing how I should tweak my system before I submit

    Thanks

Thanks Stan! There should be a separate contests just for NF2/Barton people because we can't compare to the P4 or Athlon64 overclocking crowds.

Sorry.... that is not 325MHz for memory
because Multiplier 4 will never run memory at 1:1 ratio

    what about this one then?

and what ram frequency are they really running then? at the dfi forums...it says a 4x multi would put the divider at 4:5 or slower...meaning at most about 260MHz on mem?

From DFI-Street: It is impossible to run your mem at 1:1 with 1/2 multipliers. There are many programs like CPUZ - ClockGen - Sandra - Memtest and others that will show your ram running 1:1 when infact it is not.

that on multiplier 9 so it is 1:1
    290MHz on the memory
