Ok so is there any way in Linux (RedHat ES 3) to let me access the net from eth0 only and access a computer thats on a switch on eth1? at the same time?

Trying to access the net using one nic wile the other nic just accesses an offline...

Nevermind, found out:
route
delete the default gateway (as it was pointing to the eth1
add default gateway pointing to eth0
voila!
