How can I unlock the HL2 single player levels?

Is there a way to unlock all the chapters with a command in the console or config file? I have had to reinstall the game and I feel like playing some of the later levels, but don't feel like playing through everything to get to them.

Yes there is a way. Just do a search and you'll find the console commands. Basically all you need is the map list, and enable the console. It's in advanced options and then you use the ~ key to bring it down. And you'd just type map mapname. YOu substitute mapname with the actual name of the map that you've looked up from the map list.
