Audigy 2 ZS Plat. Pro and Logitec Z-5500's
I am having a bit of trouble setting up my SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro and the Logitech z-5500 speakers. On the back of the SB I/O HUB there are two connectors. One is digital out using a 4 pole miniplug to a 4 pole digital cable. The other is the SPDIF out port. I can connect the SPDIF to the controller on the Logitecs which takes a coxial cable. However, it seems that I am not getting all four speakers to respond when I go to the speaker configuration in the Creative setup. All four are playing but the rear two are just repeating the front two.
My question is where can I find the 4 pole mini plug with a coaxial connection on the other end to I can connect the digital out to the Logitech controller? Or, is the connection I now have OK?
I had to RMA this card because of a problem and got it back today. In the meanwhile I was using my Prodigy 7.1 card and frankly it seemed to out do the SB! At least I could connect a coaxial cable from the card to the Logitech controller box plus the Prodigy has a headphone amp on one of the out ports which is super.
Well enough - any help here would be appreciated. I am the "village idiot" when it comes to sound, etc. My equipment selection is good I believe but I wish I knew more how to get it setup
Thanks for any help!
