    IPod Plug-In Sets Music Free

The plug-in, called ml_iPod, allows iPod users to bypass iTunes and manage music collections in Winamp instead. The iPod is supposed to work with iTunes only. A new version of the software was released Monday.

thats cool, but i still dont like ipods. This just gives me three reasons instead of 4. Now just the wheel, the over commercialization, and the non removable battery annoy me

Why is it I was able to navigate the hard drive on my 15GB iPod, and hunt for songs in it? The directories it created werent logical, but all the songs and there mp3 info were still intact along with file names.
