lol weeeeeeeee. Ok, so I had Area51 the arcade game for my sega saturn back in the day with the gun for it too. Was awesome game (its still popular in lots of arcades today...) about how Area51 aliens take over or rebel or something like that and teams are sent in to kill the aliens and re-take area51. I dunno what this new version is about but i bet same thing.

i still haven't played demo.... i'll try it now for 5min

Anyone can download from the "Public servers" at the bottom of the page but if you happen to have a GameSpy id you can login as a registered user and download from the "Fast Free Servers for Registered Users". I'm downloading now from the East coast registered server at 350 KB/sec which is the max for my connection.

I downloaded it last night..Tried playing it this morning but I don't know how to freaking open the doors lol... The cinematics were like outstanding nothing like what the game really is..Too bad the game doesn't look as good as the cinematics...But if i can found out how to open the doors and move on I might like it...

My download from 3dgamers was not corrupt. Funny how the opening splash screen says "only on Fileplanet". Umm, not true

Very nice opening movie but then it becomes yet another FPS. I must have been uber dense when I played because I couldn't get out of the first room. I found a few guns that I auto-picked up. I found a 'top secret' document on the floor that had a green marker around it. I took that to mean I could pick it up but pressing tab (the use/pickup key) did nothing. I tried playing around with the scanner but couldn't do anything with that. So what am I missing?

Oh yeah, sorry I didn't catch that part of your post the first time I read it.

It's like the use key (tab) doesn't work. I tried remapping it to middle mouse but I still couldn't pick anything up.
