    Well, one would expect so, but in all the tests I've seen AVK doesn't actually do any better. If you're happy with the real thing (kaspersky), then I'd stick with that. If you'd paid out for AVK then you could rest easy that your money was well spent.

    Trend Micro, officescan. None better. Heck, Trend owns antivirus.com, and its what microsoft uses.

    Some say the ADS are bad and others say they are no big deal which is confusing on what to do during install.

    Personally, I don't install iStreams. The very first time I installed the trial on one of my machines, I installed and ran iStreams with no adverse affects. I believe iStreams adds a checksum value to the NTFS stream for Kasperkey to check if a file has changed since it was last scanned. This should improve scanning times, but other AV programs may then show that all files on an NTFS partition have changed and may incorectly flag this as a problem. If you're only using KAV then it shouldn't be a problem and may improve scan times.

    I thought Microsoft used NOD32.
