I was going through my old PC equipment and fouind.. a Chaintech 7vJL Deluxe and 512meg mem and a Athlon XP 2000+. I had an old case with no sides... I put it all together and all is running pretty well. Not OCing or anything... yet.
One thing I noticed was that the CPU was running about 63c degrees.
I reapplied Artic Silver 3 (all I had) I'm using a generic cooler.. had to use a low profile one since the PSU is mounted wierd in this case. Now the CPU is running about 55c and 58c under load.
Are these temps too high to run all the time?
This machine is just for testing and normal internet... no gaming or anything elaborate.
Anyway... I know 90c is too high... but was wondering if ~57c was too high for everyday.
