As easy as the unlocked FX; with the difference that you can't select a higher multiplier than the default (in the 4800+ case, 12). But if you plan overclock much, you might need a good board (such as the DFI I'm interested in purchasing), unlike what happens in the case you overclock with the multiplier.

I read a review about the 4800+ that hit 3.0 GHz easily and they pushed it even further, but I think they just got lucky.

From what I been reading about the 4800 its a great ocer and alot going from 2.4 to ateast 2.7- 3.0 I have liquid cooling for mb mb chipset and videocard so we see.I like FX I was able to go to to 13.5x from 12 I know weaker benchmarks but I tend to like for better stableness

    my sigg^^
Pretty much a set and forget as after that prime run I never botherd going further.

The temps should be -15C-17c load, pwmIC 35-40c, chipset 30c but, thats what happens when you forget to turn on the PSU that powers all my case fan's and PWMic/chipset 80mm fans

I'm also running 1.47v now (way to lazy to re-run prime with fan's on and new voltage...maybe one day ill update it with current temps/volt)

I just got my x2 3800 into an nf4 system. Currently stable at 289x9 with 1.48v. I have my ram at 150 divider at 2.5-3-2-9 using an xp90c for cooling. I plan to give it some more juice and see if I can hit 2.7 stable without getting too hot. Current load temp is 39C.

The noise on the delta is actually pretty good. It is about the same as the smart fan that I used to use. This is the delta that I got:

I paid for new ps pure power thermaltake 680watt
I am now waited on replacement for pny 6800gt that oced great like ultra oc

You've also killed an 6800GT? You are a real hardware destroyer. If you keep up this pace, in a while stores will have a warning label "BEWARE! Fle@B@gL@ne is coming . . ."
