    what is this icon??

    ive got it in i.e. and in outlook express, no where else i can find. i didnt notice cuz i use firefox but the wife uses i.e. its not anywhere else. ive used hijack this, adaware, spybot, microsoft antispyware, norton, houscall.trendmicro....and some others. i dont do this much, but im asking for help.



    any help guys?

    Look under Browser Helper Objects (BHO) in HiJackThis or SpybotSD and see if there's anything you don't recognize.

    I'm not familiar with the entries associated w/ razer*, but everything else is recognizable.

    At the top of Internet Explorer select View>Toolbars then list or take a pic to post of what is in that list as what you have shown is one of them.

    Which one I do not know.

    JMeesh,

    Try www.fileresearchcenter.com, run their prog that tells you what is really running on your computer, pay particular attention to any progs that it flags as unsafe or unknown.

    thx for the replies guys. found out what it is. i thought it was spyware, so i put it in this forum section. as it turns out, its the stanford univ. logo. http://img387.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sford13kj.jpg . my wife installed i.e. again because it was messed up (i use firefox so i didnt know) and thats where she got it from! weird huh?? thx for the help tho.

    Yeah, I find it to be a handy service to use when scanning clients machines.
    Used in conjunction with the advanced tools of MS Antispy, you can catch alot of malware, virus, bho activity.
