Only if the hookers were still around.
Other than that you're fending for yourself.

can't you use the "I went to turn it on and nothing happened so I had to fix it" line or " I needed it for school" ?

Just tell her that u going to buy her something soon. Then just buy roses and take here out to dinner. This always works from what i heard. My gf doesn't care what i spend my money on as long as the bills get paid.

Wow those prices are great. As far brand goes I can tell you that I had to recently RMA an XFX 6600GT AGP and it went very smooth. They respond to emails and answer the phone. New card in under 2 weeks. Seems like for now they have good customer support.

So what's the story on the 6800's. Can you unlock them into a GT?

From what I've been reading the AGP versions can usually be unlocked. The PCIE versions are actually built differently and lack the unlockable pipes.
Of course, I think unlocking is always luck of the draw anyway so YMMV.

Arg, went with the XFX on the strength of my good experience with my current 6600GT.
    Just... remember me guys.

Right now I'm thinking 2GB of RAM is next for me. Just trying to convince myself to spend the cash - not sure how long that's going to take
