    Resolved x850xt PE VS x1800xl

hey im planing on building a 64 bit system and would like to here ur taught on the issue.
i waz checking out the x850xt platinum edition cards and waz a bit confused. The x850xt seems to beat the x1800xl but the x1800xl are prices higher. Is it because of the higher clock speeds? tigerdirect is selling a connect3d x850xt pe for $339 and the x1800xl is set to be sold for around 260 pound.

Have you considered an nVidia 7800 series card?

That price is only because X1800 XL is newer... and kinda on par with X850XT PE. Get whatever is cheaper, I say.

Get the best bang for the buck is my opinion and the X1800XL is no where near that target, but if you are a die hard ATI fanboy then waste some good money on the newer technology otherwise be sensible and buy a 7800.
