Even these are good reminders. I usually get so busy trying to frag someone, or just trying to stay alive for a few seconds that I completely overlook picking up a dropped kit.

    thanks,

Anyone familiar with using the 'slots' feature in BF2CC? Is that the thing that allows you to reserve slots for specific players? How does it actually work - If the server is full and someone on the list joins does it kick someone automatically? Should we put all the regular players in the list?

I finally got around to ordering Special Forces but I ordered a box not download so I guess I have to wait maybe a week or so to get it.

You will enjoy the new weapons Lenny. I'm going back to playing it for a while. It helps ground pounding and sniping.

Lenny do you know anyone in gaming who uses an SLI rig? The wiseone is having some problems and I'm trying to dig around a little. I'm thinking about a new rig around Christmas and I always like to know about what I'm getting.

He uses 4 monitors and dual core so I doubt many will have the same kind of rig.

"i get a steady hitching in some games with SLI enabled. HL2, Farcry, and doom3 so far. none of the games listed hitched in single card mode (except doom3. it hitched regardless). FEAR and 3dmark06 run as they should...nice and smooth.

the hitching can be best described as a constant skipping. its almost like it skips once per frame.

i just dont know how to explain it any other way."
He has dual core with 4 monitors but I think when testing only one was enabled.
