recomend some speakers for DD 5.1

I have a X-Mystique 7.1 Gold distributed by BlueGears , it will encode DD 5.1 much like nvidias sound storm will ,is their a set of speakers that I can use with this card that will allow me to Use DD 5.1 ? I believe it is time to dump these old altec lansing 251s but I want to use the output of this great card to output dolby digital to a set of speakers that will properly decode it any recomdations that will not break the bank?

here is a pick of my sound card

If you can swing the cash, get the Logitech Z5500s. They utilize the optical SPDIF.

    z5500s are like $150. I don't think you're going to beat that.

Also, why do you need the Dolby Digital? Using normal PC speakers, the analog outputs will likely have more detail. Dolby Digital adds NOTHING, in fact sometimes certain things are lost in the encoding. The analog outs on this card are also clean enough so that sound quality may be higher via analog, as well.

The only thing the DD is useful for is those using an external Home Theater receiver.
