do a search for your "hosts" file and make sure the only thing not commented is localhost 127.0.0.1

allrigt, i passes all of that stuff.

since i asked you to ping me, my zone alarm has had 2700 intrusions and 14 were high rated

i would say this is pretty bad.

also, it found some kind of "html" virus

Well dont worry over the intrusions. If you did the shields up test...thats a pile right there.
Dont worry about what doesnt get by a firewall.
Id follow what Senor suggested and what I suggested earlier...get rid of the spyware.
You can also run a check at housecall/trend micro and that just may help....but remember to reboot.

    Here

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

But be sure and reboot. Youll see maybe 600 executibles run at reboot.

The housecall thing is a great doublecheck on whatever you run for protection. They also keep up with latest spyware crap...so they just might nab what cooties you may have.
Youll be amazed at reeboot to see what is killed.[there will bea dos screen]

Moved here. We seem to have arrived at a revolving door that perhaps is best resolved here.

    OK. Ive got some time.

Pimp suspects he has spyware. He is also unable to do online scan at trendmicro/housecall.[which in itself suggests some problem]

    What to do now?

Housecall is using a new set options.

I'd advise using the java based option, and make sure your using sun java rather then MS java.

    Don't use the browser plugin.
