    Windows ME vs. 98

I have both, but which is better? ME seems better on my pc then 98 does but everyone says I should stick with 98. Im mainly a gamer, if that makes a difference?

    Cheers!

I had some experience with ME, and although I must confess that it feels nicer, I didn't stick with it...

If you mess around with your computer a lot and want to have "complete" power/control, throw ME away.

But if you're just a gamer (like you said), then I suppose it could do, although it seems to take more memory, somehow...

ME has more moduals running, and is doing rollback points. The virtual memory handler also has a few problems. Basically you need 256 MB to run comfortably and the rollback feature can undo your installs for drivers and program settings. It won't even inform you it did it.

No, the rollback feature is NOT smooth.
That piece of crap messed up a few (possibly time dependent) programs... Seems like it doesn't do the date business correctly when it does a backflip
