    This is probably a real dumb question...

    This is probably a real dumb question, but which was it the fan supposed to be blowing on your cpu?

    Onto the Heatsink or Sucking air away from the heatsink?

    AMD Athlon 1.33GHz @ 1.4 GHz 1.8vcore
    Alpha Aluminum Heatsink Copper Inlay w/ Delta 7500 rpm (38CFM)
    256 DDRAM PC 2100
    MSI Starforce pro 64DDR with Blue orb fan/heatsink and blue DDR Ramsinks 205core/420ram 7200 3dMark 2000 points (not overclocked)
    Asus A7A266 rev. 1005
    Quantum Fireball 7200 RPM 20GIG 8.9 ms seek time
    about 150 CFM total airflow - 2 sunon 43CFM amongst others.
    Enermax 350 watt PSU w/ intake fan and exhaust - P4 ready. Though that will NEVER happen

    That depends on the heatsink. Try it both ways and see which gives you the lower temps.

    Most heatsinks were designed to have the fan blow towards the heatsink. Your Alpha is one of the few that is used with the fan in suck mode. Might try it blowing though to see which is better with your particular setup. There are no dumb questions, just dumb answers.

    Also, Should i go for some new Case Fans?

    I have 3, im only using two right now, and they're these cheap little 2500 rpm ones...

    Jesus, After turning my fan to blow against the heatsink, i just dropped 5C!

    Another 5 and im all set :/

    Hopefully the Paste will do that, then i can put my cpu up to the speed its supposed to be at

    The 1.33 is running at 1000MHz
