As you can see, $50 is the cutoff point. The TDX would be my favorite, btw.

btw im not adverse to paying more than $50 if theres a significat performance gain to spend $75....I just keep promising my wallet i wont, wouldnt be the first time i lied to it though

You already have a nice high pressure pump so the Storm g4 would be my pick, well made and finished, good solid mounting plate and enough retention bits to open a small hardware store. (it looks good too)

There is always the solid silver G5 if you really want something special, but we're talking the last 1c here.
The Swiftech block is supposed to be equal or a tiny bit better than the original Storm G4.

So would best performance for $ would go to what, storm or whitewater ?
(didnt know anyone still had them, when i first started looking at water these were always sold out and no one knew when/if more would be out)

D-Tek has licenced the design of the WW and this about 1/2 of what I paid.I bought mine from cool technica when D-Tek first started making them.

Apogee is a good block, just make sure its clean before installing... Its nice for $49.

picked up the apogee to replace my mcw462 with my new rig, nothing but good things to say about it, easy install, has all you need for any processor on the market today, and getting solid temps with it, mobo temp prob says 31c full load, but you all know how accurate those are
