    What happened with Soyo?

    Hey Guys,

I remember using Soyo mobos on my PII and PIII back in the day, I even saw some Dragons for XP and P4; now I can't find Soyo motherboards (Newegg, zzf, etc).

Are they like bankrupt or something? I know they still manufacture tv's and stuff like that, but on their website the 'latest' motherboard is a socket 754.

    What happened?

    Re: What happened with Soyo?

The Soyo that produced computer motherboads was located in
Taiwan. They also had a sales office in CA. Last year, the
Soyo Taiwan office announced they were leaving the computer
business and are working on producing plastic products. The CA
sales office is still open, but they are now selling monitors and
VoIP products made by OEM's. The 754 motherboard you still
see for sale on websites, was the last Soyo Taiwan motherboard produced.
