    I dont think the chip has the 4 extra pipelines. They made a diffrent chip, because when the 6800GT came out, all people did was O/c the card to Ultra specs, and they would have themselves the performance of a 6800 Ultra without having to spend the extra cash.

    the 6800GT and ultra had the same specs...

    you mean the 6800 Regular and the 6800 GT.. ?
    people who paid 150-170 bucks (6800- 12 pipelines) upgraded to the $300-$400 (6800GT/Ultra 16 pipelines)

    Yea ur right, i just notice that GT and Ultra have same spec lol
