Re: VOTE: Game of the Month January 2006

    I've played Civ4, COD2, Fear

Bf2 is still the best. Nothing is as satisfying as beating clan boys on there own server.

Lots of good games coming this year.

Can't wait for the new BF2 patch.

Re: VOTE: Game of the Month January 2006

My vote goes to Call of Duty 2 (CoD2).

I can't get enough of it!

P.S.: I know this is kind of off-topic, but how is "BF2: Special Forces"?
I havn't seen much talk about it. I thought about getting it, but decided I would wait to see what anyone else thought?

Many people don't like it and prefer the original maps. I think there are three or four boards that are great. The weapon upgrades are nice also.

So, would it be a good buy to get the game or hold off and continue to play the original?

The game is worth it for the weapon upgrades which you can then use in regular BF2.
The SCAR-L is good. The F2000 is another. G36E. You need the original upgrade to get these secondary upgrades.
As for BF2-SF itself. It's ok. I like 3 maps out of the 8:
    Iron Gator/Ghost Town/Warlord.
