Im not sure if its even worth it

But i have a comp thats about 3 years old. Its a hp has a celeron processor 2.2 ghz if i remember right, 256 mb ram 60 gb hd. Anyway this pc has been out of comission for about 2 years. Windows xp somehow got corrupted and i was told i needed a new windows xp disc that dident come with the pc. So anyway it was put up in a closet for a couple years. *edited* ( lol dident think about it sorry ) turn it on it starts up but doesnt send any info to the monitor and gives a loud beeping sound every 3 sec or so. Any ideas whats wrong. I would like to have a pc to experiment on, since ive never overclocked or done much to a pc i would hate to fry my new one.
