Problem Re: Team 734 Whoohoo Thread

Woot! Finally had time to mess with my new quad core..
it was the memory that was bad. I sent the old memory back to the egg for an rma. I slammed a crummy gig of dell ram in it and it has been running great. The system is water cooled. I ran stresscpu for a few hours no problems.... speedfan is giving me great results. Asus pcprobe is giving me a few odd errors. one alarm came on and said my cpu temp was 225 deg C! but speedfan never reported that.. Anyhow, My core temp from speedfan flattened out at 43 deg C while my water temp was steady at 33... I may reset the cpu block again with some fresh thermal paste to see if i can close that gap some more.

I finally started fahsmp for winders again.. My first frame was 12 minutes!!!

So here we go! we are gonna hammer those eoc folders!!!

I'm using a noisetaker 485 watter in all of my rigs, all have a X1950 Pro, no problems at all. Even on my new workstation rig which is loaded to the gills. Runs cool as a cucumber

Looking at the stats page I noticed that the Avg PPD for each Froggie is 1,020.2 PPD. That's quite a feat in my book.
