Fold with what you have,
Every Work Unit can make a difference.
I strongly second what jester just said.![]()
Yeah a hearty woo hoo for the team.
Each team has its own personality.
I truly enjoy this team.
All teams helping to fold deserve a great woo hoo.
The friendly competition for points and wu's just make it more interesting.
Watch as we all gear up with more wu and points power via gpu client.
Just think about what this is doing for Stanford research.
It has to be fantastic.
The other night my wife came into my "warm" room and looked at all my boxes here running, humming and consuming electricity.
So she asked what are you doing with all these computers. You cannot use more than one of them at any time.
I sat her down and explained to her all about folding, Stanford, disease research, etc., etc.
And then I played our movie; thanks to whomever came up with it.
So she is watching and watching and is getting a little ansy in the pants.
So I told her to sit and watch as the names began to scroll. Then suddenly a name crossed the screen, it was our dearest Aunt Rosie who succumbed to lung cancer a few years back. She goes oh there is Aunt Rose, who did that?
Then as she kept on watching along came Lillian, my wife's life long confidant and dearest closests friend who succumbed to pancreatic cancer a couple of years ago. Then she sighed and said how did that happen?
As said keep watching and then along came Theresa her second life long confidant and dearest deepest friend who succumbed to bile duct cancer a little over a year ago.
She was overwhelmed. I told her this is what I do. This is my hobby. I donate machine time to Stanford University so they can research all these diseases and maybe we won't see so many of our friends names in the scroll of this movie.
She said this is a good thing. I don't think she is going to ever bother me again about my 3 boxes in the room, which gets a bit warm during the summer.
She wanted me to submit a few more names. I will

That's a sweet rig in your sig, but does it fold?
DRM 'manages access' in the same way that jail 'manages freedom.'
Could point them here too: http://www.amdforums.com/showthread....hreadid=173879 (shameless plug)
I so wish it was otherwise, but all the characters in the verses are non fictional,![]()
And as far as "all those computers and electricity" :

Folding on.
So another week over,
a few more Wu's to the score,
thinking and planning,
how to fold a few more,
another machine in the pipeline,
would sure help the fight,
have to consider the cost,
with a budget that's tight,
the costs may be high,
to keep folding on,
but the rewards are so great,
if we can save only one,
One mother of a child,
who can't understand,
where mummy has gone,
we must lend a hand,
One husband and father,
the loss is so great,
to the family left behind,
we must concentrate,
One innocent child,
the chance to grow old,
taken away,
how can we not fold,
so, fellow folders,
the costs may be great,
but not folding at all,
I will not contemplate.
Some things never change.![]()

Ah yes, some friendly competition.
Get more gpu's running and maybe some day I will get Linux running :-) and we will have more ppd across the entire team.
