    Re: Post your 3dmark06 scores

Kinda feel score is low with my setup I am in the 4800-5000 range from no ocing to mild ocing the setup max is 5,047 in 06

    Liquid cooled 4800 @2606 on par with FX60 2.6MHz 2MB L2

EVGA 7800GTX 256 KO ko is faster GTX 490/1300 stock

2GB of PC3200 very decent timing

Test is on the SATA II HD with OS

Can size of monitor make it lower score? i am on 24in just wondering?

    Re: Post your 3dmark06 scores

I'm happy with these scores... I just built this system after reading up on Tomshardware. I figured it sounded like a fun project and my stuff was dated. Anyway, here is a list of my stuff. I stopped at 3.6 GHz even though temps show I could go higher. Just a little scared I guess. I think a 1.0 GHz is a respectable OC.

    Re: Post your 3dmark06 scores

Got 2nd card in and only hit only 8300 with 2x 7800GTX KO

I cant get it stable with both ocing @515/1350 like first one.

I got them stable at 508/1336.

My PS is an VERY GOOD PC POWER AND COOLING SLI 510

Just to see if the SLI 510 Ps was holding me cards back I put in my rather new THERMALTAKE Pure Power 680watt from my FX55@57+

With the stronger ps I came within give or take 20 points from same scores

BTW I setup my res to 12by10 for test and also test up in card settings I leave some stuff on same like

    IQ at highest
    Leave on clamps
    Leave on trilinear

Should I not have thoses set like that?

I dont know what they want left on in card settings

OK, I'm invoking the mod's perogative of shutting this thread and starting a new one here. Please post all scores, include updated runs, in that thread and I'l try to keep it reasonably up-to-date.

    Cheers
